That absolutely gets people to work on their teamwork and social skills. I know from being involved in sports that it most certainly is the case.     I completely agree with everything you mentioned. From my personal experience I can say that my mood changes significantly after a good workout. I feel so much better about myself after a workout and it also makes me want to get more done during the day. I get a sense of accomplishment every time I workout and challenge myself to push harder. I also believe that sports are the best way to teach teamwork. The feeling of working together to achieve a common goal is way greater in sports then in any other activities.
